The LidarBench Mission

We didn't start this journey to build just another piece of software. There is enough software in the world. We were searching for truth amidst the chaos.

My name is Tamás Steckmüller, and I have spent my life pushing boundaries. They told me that LIDAR data processing had physical limits. That real-time interpretation of millions of points required supercomputers. That noise reduction took time. That we had to choose between speed and precision.

I refused to accept that choice.

A serendipitous mathematical discovery led me to realize that we shouldn't look at space the way we were taught. Dimensions are not limitations; they are tools. When I first saw with my own eyes how our technology performed calculations in seconds on a single laptop—calculations that previously required server farms—I knew this wasn't just "another algorithm." This was a breakthrough.

But a breakthrough is worthless if you don't build a future upon it. And you don't build the future alone.

The Brotherhood

This is where my business partner, my anchor, my younger brother entered the story.

Many say that doing business with family is risky. We say: it is our greatest strength. When we fought through sleepless nights of coding, when servers crashed, or when the world called our goals impossible, it wasn't just two engineers facing the problem. It was two brothers. This bond is the foundation of LidarBench. Unconditional trust. The knowledge that no matter how hard the "stress test," we will not break—just like our software.

What is LidarBench?

It is more than a benchmark platform. It is "The Torture Chamber" where algorithms grow up.

We created it so that researchers, engineers, and dreamers around the world wouldn't have to waste their time fighting limitations. We take that burden off their shoulders. We provide certainty. If your robot, your car, your vision survives the tests of LidarBench, it will survive reality.

We don't promise an easy path. Our tests are brutal. Our standards are unforgiving. But the result? Pure, unadulterated truth.
